1) Keep Torah in your heart - in other words, make of Torah a lifestyle; what defines you as an individual. (verses 1 and 2)
2) Live a life of grace and truth - it will lead to a favorable life in the sight of God and society. (verses 3 and 4)
3) "Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding" (verse 5) - Our God is perfect, therefore His ways are perfect. If we rely on Him, we will walk in His perfect ways.
4) Give God the credit - everything that we have accomplished, all that we have, and who we are is thanks to God. We must keep that in mind and verbalize it every day. (verse 6)
5) Fear the Lord - we must always remeber that we serve an all powerful God, Creator of the universe. He deserves the maximum respect. (verse 7)
6) Give back to the Lord - just as God give us everything, we have to give our everything for God. (verses 9 and 10)
7) God corrects us like a father - we must learn to accept God's correction in order to improve and grow spiritually. (verses 11 and 12)
8) Ask for wisdom daily (verses 13-20)
9) Act with common sense and discretion - this ensures that we live a worthy life and prevents us from making disastrous mistakes. (verses 21-24)
10) Be generous - as servants of God, we are one the ways God uses to open His hand provide for those who need it the most. (verses 27 and 28)
